How can I calibrate the AlpinerX compass?

To work properly, the compass of your AlpinerX must be calibrated once.

To do so, go to "my watch" page, "calibration", "compass calibration" and follow the procedure. You must turn the watch horizontally a full turn.

For a successful calibration, follow the good practice rules:

  • Keep away from metal or magnetic interferences
  • Keep the watch horizontal
  • Give the watch a full turn on itself (keeping it horizontal) in 10-20 seconds
  • Wait until you've reached your calibration at a 100% (appearing on your app's screen)

Tip: You can keep your watch on your wrist (horizontal - as if you were watching the time) and make one full turn on yourself. You can sit down on a rotating chair as it helps.
